MEET TEAM 1840
Our 1840 team have all been trained by the designers and involved in selecting the gowns for the boutique and yes we do get to try them all on!
You will most likely be met and assisted by Carrie the owner who knows our dresses inside out and will be able to advise you on materials, styles and cut whilst of course serving you the all important bubbles on arrival! Hannah, Flossy and Abbie are our Bridal Stylists. Meanwhile Rachel and Amy are behind the scenes running all our social media channels, marketing and do make the odd appearance as Bridal Stylists in the boutique too!

It is rare to find a dress which fits like a glove first time, so if you require any alterations and additional fittings, then we have a team of highly experienced bridal seamstresses at the ready and you will be invited to make appointments well in advance of your wedding.
Founder and Owner
Carrie is a wedding planner, previously working in retail, HR and management. Her passion is making brides feel amazing and wanted to bring her experience to the bridal side of weddings. The team is super important to Carrie, without the right team, there won’t be happy brides and that’s why 1840 exists. Carrie knows the dresses inside out and has personally chosen every dress at 1840.

Head of Marketing
Rachel heads up marketing and social media but her background within the wedding industry is in styling, floristry and making your wedding look epic! She brings those skills to 1840 making sure the boutique is looking on trend and installing our flowers! You’ll rarely see her in the boutique, but you’ll certainly see her on our socials and leading the team to create a balance of informative and fun content.
Marketing Assistant & Content Creator
Amy is one of our talented bridal dress buyer's who adds her unique style to every gown we pick. She's also the creative force behind our social media presence, always capturing beautiful moments with her phone in hand. Whether she's filming or editing, Amy brings a fresh perspective that enhances our brand. We're so grateful to have her input and energy in our team!
