MEET TEAM 1840
Our 1840 team have all been trained by the designers and involved in selecting the gowns for the boutique and yes we do get to try them all on!
You will most likely be met and assisted by Tasha, our lovely Boutique Manager, who knows our dresses inside out and will be able to advise you on materials, styles and cut whilst of course serving you the all important bubbles on arrival! Maisie may also be in touch with you as our Assistant Stylist and PA to the Director. Meanwhile Rachel is behind the scenes running all our social media channels, marketing and does make the odd appearance as Bridal Stylist in the boutique too!

It is rare to find a dress which fits like a glove first time, so if you require any alterations and additional fittings, then we have a team of highly experienced bridal seamstresses at the ready and you will be invited to make appointments well in advance of your wedding.
Carrie
Director
Carrie is a wedding planner, previously working in retail, HR and management. Her passion is making brides feel amazing and wanted to bring her experience to the bridal side of weddings. The team is super important to Carrie, without the right team, there won’t be happy brides and that’s why 1840 exists. Carrie is generally behind the scenes doing accounts, running the business and avoiding being in front of the camera as mush as possible!
Rachel
Head of Marketing
Rachel heads up marketing and social media but her background within the wedding industry is in styling, floristry and making your wedding look epic! She brings those skills to 1840 making sure the boutique is looking on trend and installing our flowers! You’ll rarely see her in the boutique, but you’ll certainly see her on our socials and leading the team to create a balance of informative and fun content.
Tasha
Boutique Manager
Tasha has years of experience in retail and was a buyer for LK Bennett and Fat Face. So, we stole her as our Boutique Manager and will be the face that you generally see at your bridal consultation. Her customer service skills are unrivalled, she makes it her mission to make all our brides feel super comfortable and looked after. Tasha is great at picking the dress you didn’t know you needed, with many 1840 brides walking away with the “Tasha” pick!
Maisie
Assistant to Director
Maisie studied fashion and has many years of experience in customer service roles. Maisie looks after a lot of the back office work for 1840 and supports with the social media and marketing. As the youngest member of Team 1840 she keeps us up to date with trends we might not be aware of! You’ll see her pop up on Insta generally having a laugh and bringing fun to 1840.
