I had no intention of buying a dress when I came to 1840 but I fell in love with the first dress I tried on and came home with it that day. Couldn’t have been more happy with the service, I bought 4 family members and my 5 month old baby which they had no problem with. I tried on many more styles of dress but knew the first one was for me.

My Mum, friends and I visited 1840 this weekend and we are just so glad that we did!
The venue is really lovely and it makes such a difference to be the only ones in there, due to it being appointment only and one appointment at a time.
The dresses were all so different, I loved how unique they were.
Tasha was just wonderful. She was friendly and fun, immediately putting me at ease and she really listened to what I wanted. I trusted her to choose some dresses that weren’t what I had preferred and I’m so glad I, as I ended up buying one that I never would have tried on without her!
I loved the whole experience and my Mum and friends said the same.
Everything was great, but it was Tasha who really made it.

My mum and I attended 1840 to start hunting for a wedding dress. I was very nervous and unsure of what I wanted but Carrie was so helpful and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time going through so many options with me! It was a lovely and relaxed environment and the experience was so much more enjoyable than I thought it would be with no pressure at all! I found the most perfect wedding dress which I am absolutely in love with and so excited to wear! Would 100000% recommend. Thank you, ladies!

With only 4weeks to go to my wedding I contacted Tasha at 1840 and asked if she had any dresses off the peg in my size. Unbelievably she had the most stunning dress which was almost made for me and only needed minimal alterations . You made a very anxious time into calm Thankyou so much it was a lovely experience in beautiful surroundings.And Thankyou for contacting Dawn to fit me in for alterations with only 3weeks to go too!

I was quite nervous about trying on wedding dresses but Tasha made me feel so comfortable right from the very start of my experience with 1840! Walking in I instantly felt calmer , the quality of dresses and accessories were outstanding! I found my perfect dress and Tasha was incredible. I bought my dress from 1840 today, the dresses and the shop are absolutely FABULOUS and the whole experience was absolutely 10/10… I highly recommend to any bride! Tasha was amazing, she had great advice and made me feel at ease… she even went out of her way to deliver the dress to me out of her work time! Couldn’t recommended enough

1840 is a beautiful boutique and Tasha was brilliant. Tried on lots of amazing dresses and was drawn back to the same one I originally saw online a few weeks ago! Yesterday I bought 'The one' at 1840 by Wed & Prosper with the amazing help and advise from the wonderful Tasha. She was so knowledgeable, Kind, patient and just lovely. It was an amazing experience and nothing was too much for Tasha. She went above and beyond and I want to thank her for all of her help :)

I feel 5 stars isn’t enough. Tasha has been absolutely wonderful in helping me find my wedding dress. The first viewing was amazing and I felt so at ease, no pressure and felt like I was speaking with a friend rather than a business. I never felt pressured to buy my dress but only was made to feel beautiful and I can’t thank her enough. I officially have my wedding dress from 1840 and I cannot wait until she gets here! Once again, thank you so much Tasha, you made me feel confident and beautiful and it was such a wonderful experience. It was lovely to be able to text with Tasha as well if I had questions afterwards.

I said yes to the dress! What a beautiful place 1840 bridal is. I needed an appointment quickly as we moved our wedding forward and only had 5 months to plan, Tasha was amazing at getting my booked in and nothing was too much trouble. What a place, this is where I found the ‘one’ after being very unsuccessful with both island and mainland shops trying to find my perfect dress for my big day. This is the place you want to go if you want modern, on trend dresses with so much selection but not too much your feeling very overwhelmed. The most latest designs out there! Not only that Tasha was so kind, fun and attentive and still is to this day keeping me completely up to date with my dress order, nothing was a problem and made me feel most welcome.
