​My bridesmaids and I had an appointment with Tasha last weekend, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of Prosecco, which was a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The boutique itself is beautifully decorated, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that immediately put us at ease.

As someone who had never tried on a wedding dress before, I was feeling quite nervous. However, Tasha took the time to sit down with us and have a friendly, informal chat about what I envisioned for my special day. It felt more like a conversation among friends, which helped to calm my nerves and made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Being open-minded, I invited my bridesmaids to select dresses for me to try on. I tend to be quite particular and often feel uncomfortable stepping outside my comfort zone, so I hadn’t expected to find the dress—especially as this was the very first boutique we visited. To my surprise, the very first dress I tried on turned out to be the one. Tasha styled it perfectly with various veils and accessories, effortlessly showcasing options that complemented the dress beautifully.

Every gown at 1840 was stunning, but I am absolutely thrilled with my choice. I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day. A heartfelt thank you to Tasha for making the experience so memorable. Your kindness, expertise, and genuine enthusiasm made all the difference. You are truly an asset to your profession.

​1840 was such a beautiful dress shop to go to and gave such an amazing experience! Tasha was so friendly and incredibly helpful, she could see exactly what I was visioning and found the perfect dress! I felt so comfortable in the shop trying on loads of dresses, they gave me all the help I needed and so much more. Carrie the owner came in and helped me choose too because I was too indecisive and they were so patient and acted more like friends! ☺️

​During my appointment at 1840, I was made to feel comfortable straight away. The whole atmosphere put me at ease, and the experience felt relaxed, personal, and completely stress-free. A huge part of that was thanks to Tasha. She was so down to earth, incredibly knowledgeable, and just genuinely lovely to be around. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, and her expertise made the whole process smooth and enjoyable.

I found my perfect wedding dress here, but even more than that, I left feeling confident and truly cared for. I can’t recommend 1840 — and Tasha — enough!

I have no experience when it comes to weddings - I've never been to one, so how fitting is it that the first I'll attend is my own!
I didn't know what to expect when I booked to look at wedding dresses, but was pleasantly surprised when I booked with 1840.

Tasha was lovely and couldn't have done more to make my guests and I feel comfortable. She shared in our excitement and made the experience one to remember. She could see the style of dresses I was choosing and that Madi Lane was a clear favourite. She let me know about the Madi Lane trunk show 1840 had coming up and booked me in to try on some of the new dresses.

When we came back for a second try on, she had picked out the type of dresses that she thought I'd like and she was spot on!

It was here that I found 'The one' and again Tasha shared in my excitement!

I'm so grateful for my experience with Tasha and although it has been a short and sweet experience - she has left me with happy memories of finding my wedding dress. She is very down to earth, warming and makes you feel 100% comfortable.

The environment of 1840 is gorgeous, also! Very relaxed, calm and comfortable.
